Assessing for Equity 2.0

By Invitation Only

Purpose

When we first launched Assessing for Equity in 2020, we had no idea how transformative this work would be for participants. We’ve had a lot of feedback from our five cohorts about how to enact the vision they created at the end of the first series. So, we are excited to announce a “part two” pilot series. We are offering three sessions over the course of four months where we can:

  • Draft and refine an inquiry question related to an assessment practice you want to shift

  • Design a research and implementation plan and gather data

  • Measure progress on your plan

  • Connect in community to receive consultation, support, and feedback

Prerequisites include completion of the first Assessing for Equity workshop.

If you want to include someone from your site who did not attend the first series, we ask that they read our anchor text in advance.

Outcomes

Our goal is support you in shifting assessment practices on your campus, and each session will focus on the following areas:

  1. Develop your question/hypothesis along with a plan of action

  2. Gather data, reflect, and analyze your data

  3. Refine your project and identify next steps

Who should attend
